Amit Kalra is a transdisciplinary artist and practitioner based in New York, whose work in video, sound and found object sculpture considers relationships between beliefs and behavior across time and space. 

Kalra’s work has been exhibited internationally. He has presented artist talks at Sarah Lawrence College, Campbellsville University, and SECAC’s annual conference. Kalra holds a master’s degree from the Royal College of Art’s School of Design and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.

Amit has held positions at the Royal College of Art, Pratt Institute and London Metropolitan University.
